Black Tie Society is a ska band from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Heavily influenced by Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies, these guys bring a fun show with tons of humor and a plethora of the songs you know. This is a band that gets thier audience involved. This is the band that makes the night what it should be…fun! They are a full 5 piece band. They provide thier own lighting, and can provide thier own PA and sound. Bobby Vegas is the Lead Singer, guitarist, and front man for Black Tie Society. He founded Black Tie Society in February of 2019. He has been in numerous bands to include "Can't Get a Girl" out of Las Vegas, Nevada, "Muscle Seven" out of Yokohama Japan, and "Grease Monkey" out of San Diego California. He has opened for GutterMouth, the Steady 45s, and the Skatalites

Daniel Cortinas (bass) is the prettiest member of Black Tie Society. He joined the band in March of 2019. Daniel is arguably the best musician in the band, but thankfully can't sing to save his life. It doesn't stop him from trying however, and usually at the expense of listener. But hell, who cares anyway? This is a ska/punk band. It isn't supposed to sound that good anyway. Daniel's influences include:

Mr. Nick Flores teaches saxophone, clarinet, and music theory.
He attended The North Carolina School of the Arts and studied under James Houlik. He is a working and touring musician with over 35 years of experience. Mr. Flores has played performed with Doc Severinsen, Dr. John, The Rebirth Brass Band, Kermit Ruffin, and many other. Additionally, is a retired Senior Chief Musician who served 26 years in the U.S. Navy Band.

He loves teaching private lessons to all students, from beginner to advanced. He has been teaching private lessons for approximately 20 years and welcomes any questions or inquiries.
